PELAGIC BIRDS
Although virtually all the images below (besides the Barau Petrel) were taken in Australia I decided to make a separate gallery for these amazing birds that are so dear to my heart. I’ve always been fascinated by pelagic birds, their life cycles, their journeys, the sheer size of albatrosses. Below is a compilation of several pelagic bird photography trip on the Gold Coast as well as Port mac Donnell in South Australia but includes Barau Petrel photographed from the shore in Reunion Island and random encounters while on boats of the east coast of Australia too.
